The Love Volunteer Service Team arrived at the maintenance center early in the morning, delivering daily necessities to the elderly and organizing volunteers to make dumplings. Everyone has their own responsibilities, such as washing vegetables, cutting vegetables, rolling out skins, and filling… They are systematically busy with the holiday lunch for the elderly.
Some volunteers transform into hairdressers, meticulously trimming their hair and nails for the elderly. After carefully grooming and dressing up, the elderly have a new mental outlook. The elderly sitting next to them praise the highly skilled “professional hairdressers” endlessly. Aunt Liu said happily, “Thank you for coming here to cut our hair. It’s very beautiful and clean.
Some volunteers transform into repairmen, carrying tools and materials to help repair damaged walls in the maintenance center. Clean the base surface, shovel off the alkali and powdery wall skin, repair and repaint the wall surface, so that the elderly can live more comfortably.
Volunteers participating in the event expressed their willingness to do something for the elderly, to show their love and send warmth to their side on this special day, and to make this Mother’s Day even more meaningful.
