On October 29th, the final of the 4th national new area economic development zone high tech zone team leader management skills competition, organized by the China development zone association and the national new area development zone trade union work forum council, came to an end in Nansha, Guangzhou. Since its launched in July, this competition has attracted over 100 development zones, over 800 enterprises, and over 15000 team leaders from across the country. Hanas LNG plant has a total of 37 staffs participating in the preliminary competition, and 28 of them have entered the semi-finals stage. After intense competition, two staffs have been selected for the national finals.
This competition is an important national competition for the skill level and management ability of enterprise team leaders in high-tech zones of new economic development zones. It mainly includes three stages: preliminary competition, semi-finals, and finals. The preliminary competition and semi-finals are online learning breakthrough points and theoretical exams. The finals include theoretical written exams and practical interviews, aiming to improve the quality level of staffs and build a knowledge-based, skilled, and innovative labor force. Focusing on cultivating a high-quality composite leader team with “precise production, good management, and understanding of management” is conducive to improving the comprehensive skills of the national level new area economic development zone high-tech zone enterprise leader team, and promoting the high-quality development of the national level new area economic development zone high-tech zone.
In order to have a good preparation for this national competition and achieve better results, the company actively organized and mobilized staffs to participate in this competition. In four months, staffs used their spare time to study diligently, participate in online training, and solve problems on the platform. After layer by layer selection, two contestants from our company stood out and entered the finals to compete on the same stage as the national contestants. In the final stage, the two contestants passed on-site training, written exams, and practical defense. Among them, Lihe Hou won the first prize in the competition and Yaonian Xie won the Excellence Award.
Since the first national level new area economic development zone high tech zone team leader management skills competition in 2020, the plant has organized staffs to participate in four consecutive sessions and achieved a series of good results. In the future, the company will continue to adhere to the principle of promoting learning through competition and promoting action through learning. It encourages staffs to continuously strengthen their learning in ordinary positions, improve their comprehensive qualities and management abilities, promote the spirit of craftsmanship and the construction of a knowledge-based, skilled, also innovative craftsman team, contribute to the high-quality development of the plant.
