On February 2, 2024, The Economic and Technological Development Zone in Yinchuan has held its 2024 annual work conference. In 2023, the operating income of “Four Up” enterprises in Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone exceeded 112 billion yuan, and the “100 billion zone” was successfully built, achieving a historic leap. At the meeting, the Economic Development Zone Management Committee commended the advanced collective in production safety for the year 2023. Hanas LNG Plant was awarded the honorary title of “Advanced Collective in Production safety”, which is also the third consecutive year that Hanas has been awarded this honor.
2023 is the first year to comprehensively implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the key year to implement the “14th Five Year Plan”, the year of economic recovery and development after three years of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control transition, and the extraordinary year in the development of Hanas LNG Plant. Faced with many difficulties and challenges such as the exceptionally severe market situation, increasing issues with stable operation of equipment, and continuously increasing industry supervision, all staffs of Hanas LNG Plant have risen to the challenge, made progress with determination, fully utilized the spirit of teamwork and hard work, continuously innovated and improved management and execution capabilities, created an efficient, collaborative, pragmatic, and professional working atmosphere, and achieved new breakthroughs and development.
Work safety is related to the well-being of the people, the overall economic and social development, and the overall construction of socialist modernization. It is a red line, bottom line, and lifeline that must be firmly upheld. The work of production safety involves multiple fields, a wide range of impacts, and a long responsibility chain. Since its official launch on July 18, 2012, Hanas LNG Plant has been operating safely and steadily for 4218 consecutive days without any safety accidents. Hanas LNG Plant always regards safety production as its primary goal and task, firmly establishes the concept of safety development, adheres to the red line of safety production, establishes awareness of safety production, strengthens the defense line of safety production, implements the main responsibility of the enterprise, improves the safety responsibility system, improves the safety regulations and systems, improves the safety management system, implements dual prevention mechanisms, timely eliminates accident hazards, strengthens the efforts of source control, and enhances the level of essential safety, Strengthen safety education and training, enhance safety skills and quality, strengthen emergency rescue drills, and improve emergency response capabilities. Hanas LNG Plant has solidly carried out multiple special actions, including the operation of equipment with “diseases”, in-depth investigation and rectification of major accident hazards, continuous safety risk investigation in liquefied hydrocarbon storage tank areas, and comprehensive safety production inspection and rectification. The plant has organized 52 internal hazard investigations. Hanas LNG Plant received a total of 51 inspections from government regulatory departments and expert groups at all levels of the country, autonomous region, Yinchuan City, and Economic Development Zone throughout the year. Through exchange and learning, learning from each other’s strengths and weaknesses, the company effectively improved its safety management level.
