On April 24th, entrusted by the Fujian provincial party committee, provincial government, and Putian municipal party committee, Lin Xuyang, deputy secretary of Putian municipal party committee and mayor of Putian municipal people’s government, led a team to Ningxia for discussing with Hanas group and jointly promote the construction of Hanas Putian LNG receiving station project, a major project of Minning cooperation. During this period, conducted on-site visits and research on Ningxia Hanas LNG plant and had in-depth exchanges with Hanas group on the comprehensive promotion of major service projects and the development of industrial chains.
Li Quancai, deputy mayor of city government in Yinchuan, Wu Peng, director of the agriculture office, secretary of the agriculture and rural bureau of city committee in Yinchuan, Zhao Yanhua, deputy director of the agriculture and rural bureau of Yinchuan city, Li Wei, deputy secretary general and director of the office of city government from Putian, Cheng Zhenyu, director of the development and reform commission of Putian city, Ma Jun, secretary of the party group from city culture and tourism bureau in Putian, and Gong Guanxiong, director of the management committee of the north bank economic development zone of Meizhou bay in Putian city, participated in the relevant activities.
At the meeting, after listening to Ma Fuqiang, chairman of Hanas group, introducing the development of the group and the progress of Hanas Putian LNG receiving station project, Lin Xuyang said that Hanas group is committed to the green development concept of developing clean and renewable energy, always adhering to scientific and advanced management concepts, adhering to high standard construction and high-level operation, also has developed into a large energy group and livelihood supply enterprise in Ningxia.
Lin Xuyang emphasized that the party committee and government of Putian city will adhere to the overall cooperation between Fujian and Ningxia, promote the work style of “immediate action, practical work”, continue to provide “specialized team style” services, fully assist in promoting project construction, and promote the deepening and implementation of Minning cooperation. We hope that Hanas group can take the Putian LNG receiving station project as an opportunity to bring high-quality enterprise resources, strict safety production standards, advanced management concepts, and leading digital operation models to Putian, promote the development of local clean energy industry, consolidate the achievements of Minning cooperation, and promote new achievements in Minning cooperation.
The Hanas Putian LNG receiving station is the first major project invested in Fujian by Ningxia to implement president Xi Jingping Minning cooperation strategic decision, and it is also a landmark project for the two-way investment of Minning cooperation. After the project was officially signed at the 18th Joint Conference of Minning Cooperation in 2014, it was included in the national “13th Five Year Plan” for natural gas development and became a major long-term natural gas storage facility in the autonomous region. With the support and assistance of previous party committees, government leaders, relevant departments, cities and counties (districts) in Fujian and Ningxia provinces, the first phase of the project has started construction.
After the completion of the project, it will further enhance the natural gas supply and storage capacity of Fujian province and surrounding areas. At the same time, with the national natural gas pipeline network as a link, the natural gas supply in the autonomous region will be increased through gas volume replacement, further enhancing diversified gas supply guarantees, and adding new connotations to the Minning cooperation model through clean energy industry cooperation. Through this in-depth exchange, the confidence and enthusiasm of Hanas group have been further boosted, and the determination to accelerate the construction of the Putian LNG receiving station project and fully build a benchmark project for Minning cooperation has been strengthened.
